On July 22 2013, 12 gauge shotgun shells were submitted in behalf of Zoinker.com to H P White Laboratory ( hpwhite.com ) for ballistic testing.
H P White is the premier ballistics testing Lab in the USA , if not the world.
They are considered the irrefutable authority on bullets, ballistic loadings, armor and firearms.
In all their experience they had never tested shotgun cut shells, but were very obliging to accept and fulfill my project , completing the testing of submitted shells on August 26, 2013 utilizing full choke pressure barrel for these firings.
Shells tested were regular high velocity foster slug shells by Winchester and standard velocity high base #8 birdshot shells modified by use of the Zoinker cutting guide.
Shells modified by the zoinker device submitted for testing by H P White were “New Cut Shells” and “matrix Stabilized frangible slugs”.
Results of testing supported expected performance of Zoinker modified shells!
Commercial foster type slugs had average velocity of 1778 fps and corrected average peak chamber pressure of 11,580 psi
Zoinker guide modified shells in “new cut slug” configuration had average velocity of 1283 fps and corrected average peak chamber pressure of 7,780 psi
Zoinker guide modified shells in high durometer value matrix stabilized frangible configuration had average velocity of 1299 fps and corrected average peak chamber pressure of 11,760 psi.
CONCLUSION Zoinker modified shotgun shells have pressure profiles and good velocities which should be safe for usage in any modern shotgun. Certainly as safe or safer than commercial high velocity foster slugs
Using any shotgun which is safe to shoot a slug, Zoinker can provide frangible slug performance from inexpensive bird shot shells.
Future testing will include moderate durometer matrix stabilized shells and an expanded series of Zoinkerized “New Cut Shells”

The safer, easier way to pay.
I saw your product on youtube and wanted to ask a few questions. 1st off is this a safe practice, using cut shells? I read the post about ballistic testing the cut shells so I guess pressures are within safe limits, but I’m nervous that the hull will get stuck in the barrel of a smooth bore.
And my second question is what kind of accuracy can you get out of these shells and what would be effective range?
