Matrix Stabilized Frangible Slugs made using Zoinker device

Image 1

The Zoinker device can be used in making high performance matrix stabilized frangible slugs from regular birdshot shotshells.

Using any shotgun which is safe to shoot a slug, Zoinker can provide frangible slug performance from inexpensive bird shot shells.

These feed , load , fire, and eject just like a regular slug but have energy transfer upon impact as a frangible slug at significant cost savings.

Matrix stabilized frangible slugs have less chance of over penetration than would standard solid slugs by function so they are safer in urban defense scenarios.

Matrix stabilized frangible slugs made by using the Zoinker device as instructed  retain the shotcup and contents during handling/loading integral to shell hull  and maintain proper configuration for safe firing.

Not recommended, Improper shell cutting such as that commonly used in making waxer shells may allow shotcup and contents to be displaced during handling and or loading which may result in barrel rupture upon firing.

Displacement of the waxer-shot cup from improperly cut shell hull into the barrel occurs especially with autoloading shotguns . The shot cup is properly retained in matrix stabilized slugs made using the Zoinker cutting guide and specified method.
